Writer
It wasn’t my plan to be a writer. Somehow I fell into a short-term devotional writing gig in 2021 for a widely read Instagram account. Friends urged me to keep writing. On a whim I joined an online writing critique group. Their gracious feedback encouraged me to set forth on my dream of writing Biblical fiction. I’m also working on a non-fiction book proposal.
There isn’t a target release date for either, but if you’re interested in my current scribblings, join me on Substack.
Background
I was raised as a Midwest farmer’s daughter, graduated from a state university with a BS degree in apparel design, moved to a big city, and married a software engineer.
I am creative by nature. I like to make things. I like adventures. I often ask too many questions. These characteristics often make life more difficult yet interesting.
At the age of fifty God led me to enroll in seminary. I thought I would fail, but God miraculously carried me through. I recently finished my MA degree in Biblical Studies Old Testament. I have no idea what is next on the path which God has placed me, but I do know that His wisdom and knowledge are far beyond my understanding.
